A song for my babies......

I love Sara Evans music, and today I heard a song by her that almost brought a tear to my eye. I am not a sensitive person, nor do I cry, ever. But when it comes to my children almost daily I think about how fast they have grown and how they are only going to be cuddly and little for so long. Hannah is 12, almost 13 and she is the best daughter I could ask for. Even when she is not so nice to her brother, she is a very caring and sweet girl. She helps me out so much! Doc, well I like to think of him as a little old man trapped in a boys body. He is the sweetest boy I have ever met. He is quirky and sometimes the things that come out of that childs mouth are just hilarious. And he is the biggest worry wart ever. My 7 year old, 82 year old. Maxwell is 17 months old and of course takes up most of my attention on a daily basis, but never the less, he loves me with all he has! Everyday when I come home from work he runs to me and hugs me and kisses me. He walks around the house and picks up everything and says "that mommys" I call him my little kola, because seriously he is always wrapped tightly to my waist. If I could super glue him to me, he would definatley be ok with that. Everyday my children amaze me. Everyday. I dont know what I would do if I couldnt be with them almost everyday. I love them with everything I have! So back to this song! I am going to share a few verses from it. This song is for my babies who will ALWAYS be my babies......

You'll Always Be My Baby

Sara Evans

There I was 10 years old

Waitin in my room for him to come home

And I just knew he'd be so mad

Though I begged my not to, she told my dad

There was no denying I let him down

But instead of being angry he put his arms around me and said.....

In the sunlight or the rain

Brightest nights or darkest days

I'll always feel the same way

Whatever road you may be on

Know you're never too far gone

My love is there wherever you may be
Just remember that you'll always be my baby

There I was 21

Oh, I was so ashamed of what I'd done

On a country road parked one night

Oh., it started out innocent

Crossed the line

There was no denying
I let god down

But instead of being angry

He let his love surround me and I heard......

In the sunlight or the rain

Brightest nights or darkest days

I;ll always feel the same way

Whatever road you may be on

Know youre never too far gone

My love is there wherever you may be

Just remember that you will always be my baby

There he is

My little man

i'm sure he'll get in trouble every now and then

And I pray to god that when he does

I;ll be just as understadning as my father was

So instead of being angry, I'm gonna throw my arms around him....

And I'll say in the sunlight or the rain

Brightest nights or darkest days I'll always feel the same way

Whatever road you may be on

Know you're never too far gone

My love is there wherever you may be

Just remember that you'll always be my baby

Be my baby
